Founded in 1979 by Pier Rodier, Marie-Thé Morin and their colleagues, Compagnie Vox Théâtre creates, produces and tours, at La Nouvelle Scène, across Ontario and abroad, productions that integrate musical and/or vocal elements. The company wishes to share their love for stylized musical theatre with young and general audiences alike. Vox Théâtre encourages the development of new works and adaptations in the genre of musical theatre or in a style that explores the capabilities of the human voice. Vox Théâtre also offers artistic training and workshops for children, teens and adults. The original production of Parano par amour was created in December 1991 and toured Ontario and Quebec until 1993.
