Nicole Milne

Originally from Winnipeg, Nicole started performing in professional musical theatre productions over 20 years ago, spending most of her summers in featured roles at Rainbow Stage. Making Ottawa her home over the past 10 years, local audiences may be familiar with her work with The Orpheus Musical Theatre Society, most recently as "Charity Hope Valentine" in Sweet Charity. Other selected credits include "Rizzo" in Grease, "Amy" in Company, "Valerie Clark" in A Chorus Line and "Kathy Selden" in Singin' In The Rain.

The Last 5 Years is her second show with Zucchini Grotto, having first appeared in last summer's I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change at the NAC's Fourth Stage. She considers being offered the chance to play "Cathy" a great privilege and is grateful for the opportunity.

Mark Swift
Jamie

Born and raised in the little northern town of Sault Ste. Marie, Mark moved to Ottawa six years ago. Since landing Mark has done nothing more than observe the theatre scene in Ottawa, many times, wanting to perform but never finding the right opportunity – until now!

More then 15 years ago, Sault Opera’s production of Oklahoma first saw Mark on stage as “Curly”. Other roles have included “Magaldi” in Evita, “Motel” in Fiddler On The Roof, “Danny” in Grease, and “Tony” in West Side Story.

Zucchini Grotto’s production of The Last 5 Years is Mark’s debut in Ottawa and he is both honored and excited to be working with such talented people.
